Direct Potentiometric Method for Human Stress Determination
Stress was firstly defined in 19351, as a reaction of humans to external stimuli. In the modern way of life and every day actions, the term stress is very common and has a significant influence on human reactions, health, work ability and mood. There is also a direct connection between stress and depression in humans2. Apart from adults, recent studies show that preschool children are also unde...
متن کاملChemically Modified Carbon Paste Electrode for Determination of Cesium Ion by Potentiometric Method
A new chemically modified carbon paste electrode for cesium(I) ion determination based on potassium zinc hexacyanoferrate (PZHCF) as an ionophore was prepared. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian response for Cs(I) ions over a wide concentration range from 1 × 10 to 1 × 10 mol·L with a slope of 58 ± 0.5 mV·decade. It has a response time of about 35 s and can be used for a period of 3 months with...
متن کاملMODIFIED K-STEP METHOD FOR SOLVING FUZZY INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS
We are concerned with the development of a K−step method for the numerical solution of fuzzy initial value problems. Convergence and stability of the method are also proved in detail. Moreover, a specific method of order 4 is found. The numerical results show that the proposed fourth order method is efficient for solving fuzzy differential equations.
متن کاملCOBALT PHTHALOCYANINE MODIFIED CARBON PASTE ELECTRODE AS A POTENTIOMETRIC SENSOR FOR DETERMINATION OF ASCORBIC ACID
A carbon Paste electrode modified with cobalt (II) phthalocyanine (CoPC) was used as a sensitive potentiometric sensor for determination of ascorbic acid in aqueous solutions. The potential response of the electrode is a linear function of ascorbic acid concentration over the range 5 10 to 10 M (?1- 1800 µg ML ) with a Nernstian slope of 56 mV at pH 7. The limit of detection was 0.2 µg ...
متن کاملA Modified Fluorimetric Method for Determination of Hydrogen Peroxide Using Homovanillic Acid Oxidation Principle
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) level in biological samples is used as an important index in various studies. Quantification of H2O2 level in tissue fractions in presence of H2O2 metabolizing enzymes may always provide an incorrect result. A modification is proposed for the spectrofluorimetric determination of H2O2 in homovanillic acid (HVA) oxidation method. The modification was included to precipita...
